Outfit #1 'New Look'

Heey guys,
so this a bit of a different post which I've seen some people do before. I might make this into a series or something so comment if you think that's a good idea or not. These will be quite short posts where I just put together an outfit from a certain shop or a certain category. If you would like a certain shop/ category just comment what.

This outfit equals £72.21 all together which is very expensive but I'm sure there is cheaper versions of this outfit in New Look or in other shops.

2013 Christmas Tag

Heyy guys,
This is the 2013 Christmas Tag.
I saw this on Pixi3's blog and it looked like a good tag to do near Christmas.

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

Real tree, I don't mind but the smell of real Christmas Trees are amazing<3

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?

I don't know because I love hot chocolates but not with water and that's what most coffee shops do it with. I do, however, still sometimes have a hot chocolate. I do normally just have a cold drink though.

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?

We don't usually have a colour scheme but I love red and green or gold or silver.

4.  Giving or receiving?

I love opening presents but I prefer giving:)

5.  To mince pie or not to?

No I don't like mince pies but I wish I did because they're so festive.

6.  What's your traditional sunday lunch?

Normally turkey but I remember one year it was gammon and I don't like gammon:( and brussel sprouts, yorkshire puddings, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, parnsips, the usual thing really.

7.  Christmas day fashion

Just leggings and a jumper, no makeup and fluffy socks, I don't see the point in dressing up but on boxing day I do because me and my family usually go see a pantomime.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?

I don't know really I love all Christmas songs:)

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?

Definitely Elf, who's isn't?

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?

Some before and some after because I like it to be spread out.

Simple Review x3

Hey guys, 
So in a post a while ago I said I brought some simple products. In this post I will be reviewing three of them. These three products are the anti-blemish moisturiser, Deep cleansing face mask and Foaming Cleanser.

 This is the anti-blemish moisturiser. This has worked for me since the first try. I love it and I highly recommend it. It is just like a normal moisturiser but helps fight spots. I use this twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening and the effect it has had on my skin is extraordinary.

The Foaming Cleanser is an amazing product and it has really improved my skin. It is used by putting on a damp face. You only need 1 or 2 squirts. You then rub it in and wash it off with a flannel. Very easy to use and with a good outcome.

Finally the Face Mask. This product feels nice on your skin and is clear. Just put it on after the foaming cleanser leave it for approximately 2 minutes then wash it off. I recommend this. I put it on twice a week because of my skin type but you might only need to use it once a week.

Heyy guys, 
So recently I hit 1000 views, this made me so happy because I remember starting this blog and not really thinking I'd get anywhere but here I am with 1000 views. 
I only have 8 followers and it would mean the world to me if you could just follow me on blogger. I have 7 followers on bloglovin' and 8 followers on google+ (including Chewing Sand ahhh:D) I do follow whoever follows me as well. It would be so nice if you could follow if you liked reading my posts. How to: use CCS (Part 2)

Heyy guys, 
So this a sort of follow up from my last designing your blog. Now you know how to create a header and match it with the rest of your blog. In this post I want to tell you how to use CCS. If you want to see part 1 click here. That post tells you how to create your own header and match the rest of your blog with the colours. 

Using CCS

To find CCS you go to 'Template designer' and then to 'Advanced' and then to 'Add CCS'. 

Paste this text in (Here) then press enter. This should now make your tabs central. If you do not see this in the preview then refresh the page. 

 Then, to make your tabs at the top central copy and paste this code. Then press enter. 

Your blog should now be looking neater because of centralizing two things (and you have the header and colours sorted). I think I might do another one of these or maybe some more. Maybe one to do with pictures?

November favourites

Heyy guys,

So it is now the end of November so I thought I'd share with you my favourites. 

I haven't got many but here we go:

Books/ Films:

First of all, as you will know I was very excited for and thought it was amazing is Catching Fire. If you want to see my post on that go here.  

Secondly, a still favourite is the Casual vacancy which I need to read more because I need to finish it. This was in my favourites last month and still is because it is such a good book.

Music

Then, Midnight Memories. The urge just to buy the album is so much but I think my mum is getting it for me for Christmas. My favourite songs of the album are probably You&I, Little White Lies and Little Black Dress. This is such a good album and the best One Direction have ever done. 

I also love the Arctic Monkeys and my favourite song by them is Do I wanna know?
James Arthur's 'Recovery' is an amazing song and his album is amazing. 
Final music favourite is Adele, 'He Won't Go'

Food

I like upside down pudding and have made one recently at school. I might do a post about that, do you think I should? I like pinneaple ones but probably my favourite is mandarins.

'We Heart It' Winter (Christmas Tag)

heey guys, 
So I have recently found a few tags(of which I wasn't actually tagged but oh well). 
This is the 'We Heart It' Winter (Christmas Tag). This is just basically where you put photos of Christmassy things and so it looked fun, mainly because I love christmas. 
I would recommend looking for pictures to do with Christmas because this tag is so cute. Tumblr is a good place to look. 

This is so sweet and I love the lights in the background.

This or That Beauty Tag

Heyy guys, So I know a lot of my recent posts have been tags(which I've not been tagged for) but they're quite fun and I have found a lot recently. This is the 'This or That Beauty tag'
1. Liquid or powder highlighter? I don't have any highlighter but if I did probably liquid. 2. Cream or powder blush/eye shadow? - Powder for both probably but cream eye shadow base. 3. Primer or no primer? - Try to always wear primer but I am running out of my no7 4. Lipstick, lip gloss or lip stain? - lipstick definitely 5. Eyeliner or no eyeliner? - eyeliner 6. Neutral, smokey or colourful? - neutral 7. Bold or basic lips? - It depends what I wear and what I want but nearly always basic. 8. Pale or tanned/bronzed? - pale 9. Full face, one item or no make up? - no makeup or one item 10. Palettes or individual products? I don't really own any palettes so probably individual products.

How to: Design your blog (Part1)

Heyy guys,
So this is a very different post to what I usually do but recently I have designed my blog and would like to show you how I did some of it. I got my inspiration from Beautiful Solutions. 

Designing your header

You will need to start off with a plain paint document. Don't worry about the size yet. Then go to Pic Monkey and click on edit a photo.

Open the paint document on Pic Monkey and resize it to 1000px x 200px.

Then add your title and change the font. You can have a little caption if you want as well.

Then change the colour of your header. I would chose one main colour and if you have a caption use that as your second colour. Take note of the hexadamical code because you will need this to make sure all your blog matches.

 I then personalised it with a leaf overlay (which is a matching orange to my title, using the hexadamical code) and stretched two rectangle overlays to underline it and used my two different colours. 

You will now need to crop it but do not crop the width, only the top and bottom. You still need a bit of space above and below.

Then save your header onto your documents.

On blogger go to 'layout' and click 'edit' where your original header is. Add a picture and remember to not tick 'Shrink' but do tick 'Instead of Title and description'. 

You should have something like this now.

Matching the rest of your blog

Now, on blogger, go onto 'template' and fiddle around with the background until you like it (don't worry about the colours just yet). 

 Now change the colours by going onto background and paste the hexadamical code into 'Outer Background'.

Now you can change the colour of the background on the next tab. I would change it to you main color.

 Now move on to 'tabs text' and change the font to whatever you want. I've just got Arial. I changed the colour to the original orange by pasting my hexadamical code (ffa841).


You can also change the font of your post titles. I changed it to 'crafty girls'. 

The rest of the tabs you can probably figure out yourself but if not ask me in the comments. Remember to use the main colour and if you want the second colour.

I hope you like your newly desinged blog and if you like this I will do more and talk about centralizing tabs and adding pictures etc.
